EasyJet To Fly A320neos To Belfast And Manchester
EasyJet plans to allocate one Airbus A320neo each at its Belfast and Manchester bases in mid-2023 during the summer season.
This airline’s Belfast fleet after this move will total eight A320neos, the UK low-cost carrier says. That base includes an existing fleet of three Airbus A319s, two A320s and two A320neos.
The A320neo will support the launch of a new route between Belfast and Greek island of Rhodes on 3 June, 2023. That route will be operated two times per week.
EasyJet says it will also base an additional A320neo at the Manchester airport, which now includes a total of six A320neos. It will be based from May and operate throughout the summer season.
It will support the launch of a new summer route between Manchester and Murcia in Spain on 2 May 2023, operating two times per week.
The move will create around 40 job opportunities at both airports.
