IndiGo Expands Middle East Reach

IndiGo, the renowned Indian low-cost carrier, is set to expand its flight network by introducing six new routes connecting various cities in India and the Middle East.

Starting from 1st June, IndiGo will offer daily flights between Bengaluru and Dubai, providing travelers with convenient connectivity. Additionally, from 13th June onwards, the airline will commence operations on three new routes: Kochi to Bahrain, Lucknow to Dammam (Saudi Arabia), and Ahmedabad to Jeddah. For those planning to travel after 11th August, IndiGo will also provide daily flights between Ahmedabad and Jeddah.

Furthermore, IndiGo will launch two seasonal services commencing on 13th June, connecting Dammam with Chennai and Kochi. These routes offer additional travel options during specific periods.

Presently, IndiGo already facilitates travel to 11 Middle Eastern destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, Ras Al Khaimah, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Muscat.

IndiGo holds a significant market share in the India-Middle East flight sector. As of May, IndiGo commands nearly one-fifth of the market, accounting for more than 17,300 scheduled flights. Although slightly lower than the combined market share of Air India and Air India Express, which stands at 23%, IndiGo remains a leading choice for travelers in this region.
